Hay Kent,
This is Elder Kent right? If so, i spent some time with you in Texas. when i got home, I thought id look up elder duder.com, and i was redirected here. and since this all seems very Kent, I'm assuming that this is you.
You may remember that we once had a very lengthy debate/argument about the proper adjustment of bike breaks. The purpose of this Reply is not to through points at that topic. my opinion still stand, Id love to revisit that topic at an appropriate time, but ultimately i think we were arguing two different points. I think you were right about precision. My point and thoughts were aimed a little differently. But again, not really the purpose of my reply. I've always had a lot of respect for you. I have to admit, though, that i thought you were a little bit stubborn at the time. I only bring that up to say that i now see that my previous opinion was born of ignorance. As Ive taken charge of my own life more than i previously had, Ive learned a lot. Something that has come to bother me to no end, is the fact that so many people are not willing to fight for what they believe, or even know, to be true, quite even ensure of why they believe what they believe. the more I see that, the more I admire the way you conducted yourself both in that debate and as a person. I think what you are doing here is powerful and inspiring. I'm constantly arguing that people should be more like you. Not that i argue they should become Kent. but that you embody so many attributes that i wish i saw more of, but rarely find. so come hell or high water. keep up the good work. I'm not sure what your up to or where you are these days, but if there is ever anything i can do to help you along, shoot me an email or give me a call.
highest regards

I supppose it does. It still seems so disappointing. As LDS we have so much guidance from our prophets throughout this dispensation on self-reliance, etc.
